Handmade porcelain cups by designer and ceramicist Gloria Landenberger. These cups are slipcast with porcelain and show slight variations from each other. The inside of the cups is glazed clear, the outside is raw sanded porcelain. The toughness, strength, and translucence of porcelain is what differentiates it from common stoneware.
Ceramics are a slow paced art form. You can’t rush clay, it takes time and attention to shape it, dry it, fire it, glaze it, fire it some more and then finish it.
